This is an unaccompanied piece for trumpet in Bb. This piece is high energy and is intended to convey tension and a combative/agitated performance, a broad middle section, as well as giving the performer a technical and characteristic challenge. This piece should always be moving forward, and when the written pauses are taken, make them really matter!
